With an annual operating budget of $4.5 million dollars, John Hope Settlement House benefits from a $2 million dollar endowment, from which we raise additional funds through an Annual Fund Campaign, a Capital Campaign, donations, and both private and public grants.
Fundraising
Our ability to effectively implement a wide range of quality services is strengthened through our network of volunteer support. John Hope Settlement House volunteers represent a broad cross section of age, race, ethnicity and educational background. These dedicated individuals bring their time and talent to our wide array of services including; recreation, youth development and volunteer tax preparation assistance. Their efforts contribute thousand of hours of service each year.
