A Visit from a Children's Book Author

On Wednesday, June 2, 2010, Brooklyn-based writer Lisa Preston stops in Providence, Rhode Island to promote “Me and Bear, Bear and Me,” a new children’s book she authored about “a child’s first experiences with dreaming.” She will read and discuss the story beginning at 11:00 am. John Hope President & CEO Peter D. Lee, MSW, says it is the "pro-family message" that drew him to Preston's story, because this same message is a "key principle" behind much of John Hope's programming.
