John Hope is going ever deeper into the community… In our efforts to help more Rhode Islanders take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) free tax preparation services available to them, we’ve recruited a small cadre of Walkers/Talkers, community residents eager and equipped to go into the neighborhoods and talk to people, face to face and one on one for real talk about this real issue that could bring much needed and rightfully owed income to many. Thanks, United Way and Wal-Mart, for making this work – a longtime dream of John Hope’s – a reality…
