NOW WELCOMING TODDLERS!!
The Jo-Ann Caffey McDowell Early Learning Center at John Hope Settlement House provides developmentally supportive and nurturing educational care for all pre-school children ages 18 months and up. Through the Department of Children, Youth & Families, we are licensed to welcome as many as 100 pre-schoolers daily. We also offer a full day certifed kindergarten program licensed through the Rhode Island Department of Education.
Our school based daycare, located at Hope High School, enables teen moms to continue their education while staying connected to their little ones and trusting that they are being cared for in a safe and developmentally supportive environment.
